SAT Test Dates 2026–2027 for UAE Students: Full Schedule, Deadlines and How to Register

Students in the UAE can take the digital SAT on international test dates offered several times a year — typically March, May, June, August, October, November and December — at centres in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and other emirates. Registration closes roughly two to three weeks before each test date, but UAE seats often fill much earlier, so register 6–8 weeks in advance on collegeboard.org.

Why UAE students should book early

Demand for SAT seats in the UAE regularly exceeds capacity — Abu Dhabi and Dubai centres can fill weeks before the official deadline, forcing students to travel to another emirate or skip a cycle. Booking 6–8 weeks ahead protects your preferred date and centre.

Which date should you choose?

Grade 11 first attempt in March, second in May/June. This leaves August–December of grade 12 for a final improvement attempt.

Grade 12 applying Early Decision (Nov 1 deadlines): August or October at the latest.

Grade 12 applying Regular Decision: November or December works for most universities.

Most students take the SAT 2–3 times; nearly all universities super score or take your highest total, so an early first attempt is low-risk.

How long do you need to prepare?

Plan backwards from your test date: 2–3 months of structured prep is the minimum for meaningful improvement, and 4–6 months is ideal for gains of 150+ points. If your target date is under three months away, an intensive SAT course with weekly full-length mock tests matters more than total study hours.
